CRC's Supports Ministry is a hands-on, proactive part of every facet of CRC's mission, programs, and accessibility. We take an active role in ensuring accessibility for all, from addressing mobility and communication matters in services and programs to providing individual accessibility features in all ministries. For example, providing content in Braille, ASL interpreters and specialized support in CRC ministries from birth to seniors for those who need them for any reason, whether due to physical needs (ramps, Braille, etc.) or differences (safe sensory spaces, developmental and neurological accommodations during worship, family programs, etc.).
This is a new initiative and will be growing and developing with us. Volunteers who are passionate about making church accessible for all are needed as we expand to fit this need. We believe that all people should have a safe and positive experience at church, both in worship and socially.
What We Offer Here At CRC for our Special Needs Community
- We offer sensory-friendly but fun programs that focus more on fun activities and hands-on learning than loud, overstimulating, over techy trendy classes that look like disco halls and nobody can learn anyway.
